Dr. Hong Sheng Chiong approached our team in 2015 at the BizDojo in order to develop a handheld product that could be used to image the retina with a smartphone. He had an idea-we helped from there.
What began as an sketch became a prototype, then early stage production of an innovative social enterprise, showcasing the power of 3D printing to open access to medical devices from New Zealand.
